Mill Valley Film Group, producers The Goldman Environmental Prize is given each year to six environmental heroes- one from each of the six continental regions. Each recipient receives a $125,000 award. For the awards ceremony in San Francisco, I edited 3 of the six videos that introduced and showcased each recipient. I also created a short opening video (built in After Effects) that highlights the ongoing affects that the award recipients have contributed to our planet. This first clip is the story of Rashida Bee and Champa Devi Shukla and their efforts to confront Union Carbide after the 1984 Bohpal, India chemical disaster. The second clip is the opening video for the awards ceremony. Post Office Editorial hired me to edit this piece that showcases Starbuck's grass-roots efforts to better the lives of children and families in their communities. Post Office Editorial, producer Warner Brothers wanted to promote their new 10-disc DVD collection of the Matrix films with a 30-minute infomercial and 1 and 2 minute spots. I was brought in to edit the spots and help edit the infomercial.
Making Dreams Come True Post Office Editorial, producer This 30-minute infomercial for Ameriquest included a studio shoot with Chuck Woolery and numerous testimonial interviews. I edited the 5 minute spot and helped edit the infomercial. "In the Light of Reverence"
Here's the intro for a video that Fireman's Fund used to recruit new employees to their Customer Research & Strategies department. Notice how we stressed lifestyle (exciting bay area activities) over specifics of the insurance industry (not very exciting).
Banana Republic needed a little video roll-in to highlight their new "Chino" advertising campaign. My good friend (and great editor), Will Parinello started this edit, and I added the finishing touches.
This 13-part series was produced for Hit Entertainment and aired on Animal Planet. They decided that Wyland, "famous" artist of seascapes would make a great host for 30-minute films examining the fascinating, beautiful creatures of the sea. I'll let you be the judge... I animated the intro, (working with a designer who had done numerous intros for Animal Planet) and did the online edit for the series. |
